11yo, 16.2HH Black Oldenburg Gelding
Du Jour is a very handsome, talented, easy going gelding. He won his first CT out recently with one of our students at Jumping Branch Farm in Beginner Novice and he will be competing 2012 in Novice. He has an excellent foundation of dressage and jump training having competed locally in SC as well prior to being with us.
He has three steady, flowing gaits and scores in the low 30’s with his dressage scores. He is great on cross-country – water, ditches banks are no problem. Show jumping is easy and forgiving and he has lovely form. He would make a perfect horse for an adult amateur or junior as a continued Eventer but would easily enjoy a dressage or hunter career.

He has been used in camps at the farm, is easy on the trail and has a good foundation of Level 1 Parelli Natural Horsemanship. He has been ridden bareback w-t-c in his rope halter by our student Emily as well as trail riding. He is sound and sane and truly a lovely boy.
