I came to Avalo Farm to work with Michelle this summer to get better with my riding/working with horses. I have a Tb named Kip. I have had him for a year and focused only on Parelli and building a relationship with him. For the past 2-3 years I have not had a lesson with a trainer and have only been to Parelli clinics. In that time I have missed showing and competing but I did not want to go to a traditional trainer and ruin the relationship I have with my horse.
I heard about Michelle and Avalo Farm from a friend of hers, Kelly Sigler. After talking with Michelle and looking at her website I knew she had a lot to offer and I'd learn a lot by being there.
I have been here almost a week now. I'm so thankful to have the opportunity. I love how Michelle teaches and love taking lessons again (for the past couple of months I have been feeling stuck and not able to move forward).
Things I really want to get better at would be performance in Eventing or Dressage.
I want to be further in Level 3 and get better at bridle-less riding.
